This website is purely static. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools, no contact forms and no embedded third-party content such as maps, videos or social media plugins. Fonts and all other files are delivered from this website itself; no external resources are loaded.

Personal data is therefore only processed when you access the website (technically necessary) and when you contact me by email or phone.

When you access the website, Cloudflare automatically processes the data your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system (user agent), amount of data transferred and the response status. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks and misuse.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in a secure, reliable and fast delivery of this website. Cloudflare acts as my processor under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. I do not use these data to identify individual visitors and do not combine them with other data.

Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, the data processing agreement includes the EU standard contractual clauses. Further information:

The connection to this website is encrypted (TLS).

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (entry “modus”) so that the website remembers it on your next visit. This entry stays on your device and is never transmitted to me or to third parties. Storing it is strictly necessary to provide the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

If you contact me, I process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your enquiry) in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare or perform a contract.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on my legitimate interest in answering enquiries. I delete the data once they are no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply (in particular under commercial and tax law).

This website contains plain links to my profiles on LinkedIn and Instagram. No data is transferred to these networks when you merely visit this website. Only when you click a link will the respective provider receive data under its own responsibility. For LinkedIn this is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, for Instagram Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). To exercise these rights, an informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.

Right to object: Where I process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
